I am a physician and all three of my kids received care from Dr. Herbertson. She was fantastic - professional, thorough, considered and explained different options at a level that my kids could easily understand, not just a make "tons of money you are on a cookie cutter approach" type of office. One of the kids needed a complex adjustment and she supported the dental, but also emotional needs - we ended up with a great outcome and not just as spectacular teeth, but also as a happy confident kid. Highly recommend!

My Daughter needed braces and Dr. Herbertson was the first choice for us when we were looking for the right Orthodontist. She is amazing with Kids, and has made every visit to the dentist a joy for my daughter and I. She always greets us at the front desk with a smile and checks in with my daughter to see how she is doing. About Dr. Alexa Herbertson, PhD, DMD, FRCD(C)

Dr. Herbertson is a certified specialist in orthodontics who has been practicing for more than 20 years. She received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of British Columbia, then went to University of Toronto to complete her Diploma in Orthodontics along with a PhD in bone cell biology.

Dr. Herbertson's professional associations include: the BC Society of Orthodontists, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Herbertson was also an examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and the Vice President of the BC Society of Orthodontists.
